Here is a new concept of garden seating and resting environment from John Lewis. John Lewis has introduced the latest round garden pods called Farmer’s Cottage. It is a new collection of round garden pods that perfect for optimizing outdoor space and providing a cool shady place of relaxation in the sun. This cottage will give you the best place to have a private talk with your friend or beloved. From this name, you may imagine something traditional for your garden, but after you saw the pictures you were absolutely wrong. It is something like space age spheres.
The Farmer’s Cottage has sphere shape. It is available in three different designs that you can choose. All pieces are made to order and offered in three different sizes. There are Farmer’s Cottage Rotating Sphere Lounger, Rotating Sphere Seater and Deluxe Summer House Sphere. The cottage can be rotated to keep out the wind or maximize the sun and the table lowers to form a bed.
This Farmer’s Cottage is made from combination of laminated pine and polished stainless steel with UV protected polycarbonate tinted windows. Thanks of materials that protecting the inside from the elements, while allowing full, panoramic views. The sphere is able to turn on six sealed chromium bearing that allows the pods to rotated 360° and soak up as much sunshine as possible. Unfortunately, the prices of the sphere are expensive.
