Unique Bedroom Design by Steve Kuhl Featuring a Pirate Ship
We’d like to go back as a kid where we don’t need to worry about a thing and all there’s just play and fun when we see this pirate bedroom design. This kid bedroom was designed by Steve Kuhl. This pirate kids room themes is cleverly designed. On the superior floor you will find a hole in the wall that will take you sliding down through a slide leading you to comfortable pillow located in the actual bedroom.
The journey doesn’t end just there. Once you get up, you will also love the wonderful, fairy tale structure and that’s a large pirate ship on ceiling. A wooden rope bridge gives another adventure is out there feeling where it is used to access the ship, it’s where the crow’s nest reigns, alongside a second bed, for guests.
So what was it made of? “We used 2×12 ribs to construct the hull of the ship, covering them with layers of 1/2 inch plywood to act as the planking. Our genius faux finisher developed a bomb-proof blend of plaster and epoxy with integrated coloring to simulate an old ship’s hull.” Now you’re ready to become the pirate of the Caribbean.
