Small Wooden House with Lush Vegetation and Incredible Vista in Sea Ranch Residence by Turnbull Griffin Haesloop

This small wooden house is incredible. The small house in Sea Ranch is surrounded by such great lush green vegetations, and not only that this small house is open into a meadow that faces the Pacific Ocean. The owner of this small house was inspired by the Japanese house simplicity and from that idea then this small barn was made.

This wooden barn or known as the Sea Ranch residence has a very interesting interior. We love it how it’s really warm. On the dining and living room, we really like the idea of how this small house has such a cafe concept with windows that has extra ordinary view. Moving to the bedroom design, you will be completely astonished by the lovely design. The bedroom has a complete view of nature with extensive glass windows bringing the vista in to your bed. If you feel not close enough with the view then you can lay around just next to the windows thanks to the built in long sofa along the windows.

The terrain of this small house in Sea Ranch is surrounded by evergreen trees and open into a meadow overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Customers wanted a house that captured her passion flowing into Japanese simplicity. Our solution started with a form of vernacular barn and how to sculpt an octagonal outdoor deck that opens onto the lawn and views. A continuous band of windows and exterior doors mowing cutting line to capture the panoramic views. The skies of cedar and plaster walls create a clean, minimalist interior, windows and exposed wood frames and metal frames.
