Innovative Grand Center Folding Table by Sigrid Strömgren & Sanna Lindström
In collaboration between Swedish designers Sigrid Strömgren & Sanna Lindström has created an innovative table called Grand Central. It’s a dining table that inspired by a pop-up map of New York. The dining table folds out like an origami flower from space-saving occasional table. It is built in a way that it must fan out its feathers, showing off its moves and transforming from small tray stand to a full circular table.
Central is an innovative expandable table that changes space-saving occasional table to the central piece of the room. The tabletop is divided into 22 pieces that folds out in a spectacular way through its advanced construction, dramatic and poetic at the same time. It can quickly unfold becoming a main surface area for parties or gatherings and when not in used, it can easily be folded back into a compact object. Made of lacquered plywood and mdf, the table comes in height: 540/460 mm and diameter: 790 mm. It is perfect for you who really like to have parties but live in small spaces.
