Modern Desk LED Lamp – Rima Lamp by Dreipuls

Sometime, we are so disturbed with our desk lamp. Beside it takes too much space in our desk, it is also not easy to move. Now, there is Rima lamp that able to give you the best solution. German designer Dreipuls has introduced the latest desk light design called Rima lamp. It is modern LED lamp that can be controlled by moving rings that are placed across the lamp. As controlling system, this light is easy to move. It is as easy to move as moving a curtain. If you want to replace, you can shift the light into the desired area without moving the whole lamp.

Rima lamp comes with unique design, it looks like insect. Like a spindly steel insect, the light stalks your desk and plants its legs amongst the detritus carelessly strewn thereon. But unlike an insect, this light offers ingeniously adjustable illumination. It has four legged structure suspends a semi-cylindrical bulb which runs the length of your desk. The bulb consists of four rings circling it that form the bounds of the lit part of the tube. The central tube has a number of rings that slide right and left to control the amount of light coming through. Even, you can also change the color of the light.

The LEDs light are controlled by computer that works in a rather ingenious way, almost like an abacus. It is selectively turned on or off with the rings that detected by optical sensors. Thanks of the rings that allow up to two separate lighting areas to be created. To switch off this lamp is simple. All you can do is just moving back all the rings. Rima lamp is also very practical. Unlike another desk lamp, Rima lamp does not to be fitted on to a desk and it just takes up minimal space. So it leaves more desk spaces for books, stationery and other items.
