Modern House Baetens with Large Open Kitchen Concept by JagerJanssen Architecten
House Baetens is a two-storey dwelling that is divided into a heavy material installation at the first floor while the second floor is finishes in a lighter weight, colour and design using wood and glass finishes. This residential architecture building was built in 2007 with 220 sqm built area and is located in ELST, The Netherlands.
An open space concept home interior design is applied to this dream home by its designer, JagerJanssen Architecten which is reflected to it large open kitchen and living room area that was designed in minimalist and modern style. Perpendicular to the ground floor central axis, a linear staircase connects to the second floor. The orientation of the top floor vestibule is crosswise, thus maximizing the spatial perception of the dwelling. Ascending the staircase, one walks towards the light.
