Spectacular Residence in Sydney Hanging on A Cliff Side by Durbach Block Architects
If you have so much money, where do you think will you spend the rest of your life for your retirement? My answer is at this spectacular residence in Dover Heights. The modern residence is located in a coastal and eastern suburb in Sydney, a city well known for its long heritage and the famous Opera House.
Living at the edge of a cliff is not a dream or just imagination no more after looking at this house. Built on an edge of a cliff with a height of seventy meters above the sea water certainly is breathtaking. If it’s not enough then this house open floor plan really makes you able to see the view just about anywhere and everywhere. From the kitchen you can see the sea vista, from the living room, the veranda, from the pool and the side of this spectacular architecture house you still can see the splendid view of the sea.
Durbach Block Architects was inspired by the work of Picasso “The Bathers” which was done in 1918 where Picasso spent the whole summers by the sea. The house elastic geometries construction adds another wonder. It makes me think how strong this house is but let’s just enjoy the sea view. Alas alack that you have to bite your fingers after seeing it right and I bet you wish to own one?
