Antonio Yemail and Michel Pineda are seeking to combine in the same situation the facilities of city life, related to comfort and connectivity, with the instrumental side of country life. They propose a hybrid scheme in which both scenarios are mixed in spaces equipped to accommodate this interaction (spaces that change of use, thermal comfort, enclosure, etc.).

This barn home design is located in Sisga, Cundinamarca, Colombia and built upon area as wide as 240 meters square in 2007. The home design is intentionally built as a barn, office and a house and all combined into one. The organization of the program areas and housing combined work reflects a principle of negotiation that seeks to promote a more active model of coexistence between the client and close, her children and family managers, and between them and the tasks of daily on a farm.

The construction system is defined by a mixture of materials and technology range of different types that respond to environmental efficiency and energy performance. Some materials used are also sustainable like the recycled oak wine barrels. This old and modern home design has standardized systems for lightweight construction. Why do we call this freedom? Because you can work, mingle with your family, and relax all at the same time with a splendid spacious interior and natural outdoor living.
