They have renovated their flat with many creative solutions by making such kitchen cabinets for their apartment from wine crates and told the world how others can do them too.

Sergio Carratala and Petz Scholtus made a conscious decision to make their apartment their testing lab for practical and affordable sustainable living. The couple made of kitchen cabinets from recycled wood wine crates and also crated cabinet doors of sides of wine crate boxes. Before started, you need cabinet frames, a kitchen cupboard, wooden wine crates, 8mm wooden board for doors, nails and screws, varnish, knobs, hinges, and some simple power tools. Second, lay out the fronts in your desired design to form the layout of your cabinets as a whole then overlap and mix different kinds of wood to meet your aesthetic specifications.
