Zaha Hadid for Established & Sons has designed a large scale dining/conference table with an enigmatic and liquid form called Aqua Table. It is an iconic of contemporary furniture design that allows user to the forces of motion that created a form which seems to blur the relationship between its horizontal top and vertical legs. Fluidity is its key characteristic that is challenging and daring and quite clearly the work of one of contemporary culture’s greatest talents. It makes this table looks so cool and unusual. The table’s three fin-like legs appear to be in motion, these register as indentations at the top surface. It is so interesting.

Made in both satin-matt polyurethane and high gloss polyurethane hand finishes, Aqua table is an organic body flowing within space. Rather than being static, it shows motion by adopting the dynamic gestures of liquid to form a continuous surface. The asymmetrical, irregular tabletop’s varying edges could create an ergonomic solid which offers endless relationship possibilities with its user and its environment.
