Pressalit has introduced the smart bathrooms ideas, AutoClose. AutoClose is an automatic toilet seat cover that equipped with infrared sensor. The main idea of this toilet seats is inspired from the never ending debate between the sexes that has been settled by a toilet seat, weather the toilet seats should be left up or down. Using AutoClose you don’t need to put the seat down, it closes completely automatically by itself.
AutoClose is built in sensor that keeps the toilet cover open when a user is present, and will gently close the cover when the user leaves the area. The cover will always stay open for minimum 1½ minute, but it could stay open longer for approximately 5 minutes. This modern toilet seat cover is also equipped with a soft close feature that will lower the seats automatically as you wash your hands and able to eliminate air-borne germs from the toilet.
