The Useful In Out Bottle for Sugar by Yan-Ting Chen & Hsin Yeh
In my country it is very rare to see design product graduates designing new products or new invention in order to create new simple ordinary life products. Mostly they will go to the banking, or working in industrial plants or perhaps a finance company. It’s very rare to see new innovation here, if there are new innovations, well, some of them perhaps are a copy cat from other already invented new design.
Perhaps designing a sugar bottle isn’t something great. It’s simple, and yes it is. People might be thinking why you should design a useless thing like sugar bottle. They might jump out into conclusion that product designers who design things like this is very much has got nothing to do. But that isn’t the way I see it. These people like Yan-Ting Chen & Hsin Yeh have been helping people to ease the daily activities by inventing the In Out Bottle for sugar dispensing, which has a very clever twist on it.
The In Out Bottle has this silica gel mouth in turns to form a funnel, this way there won’t be any sugar spilling out while you’re refilling it. Although it looks simple, this sugar bottle has won the IDEA Design 2010 winner. Nice work, and we hope you keep on inventing to create products which can help people. The design doesn’t need to be complex and sophisticated, sometimes what seems so simple can be truly meaningful and useful.
