This time we will take you to the butterfly roof house plans idea that called H House designed by Ras-a located on a golf course in southwestern Missouri. The house is like the normal house which has open floor plan and very simple forms and materials used in it. It is comprised of a series like mimicking the simple structures of farmland close by the house. The main feature of this natural home design is the entry, dining, kitchen, and living area which is open and filled with large expanses of glass thus seems that it takes in the surrounding landscape inside. This area is covered by a butterfly roof decorated in a continuous ribbon of clerestory windows, where hopefully it will diffuse light to flood the interior.

During the more extreme seasons of summer and winter like today which can go further more extreme, this house is completed with a geothermal system for additional heating and cooling. A passive solar design, functional clerestory windows, high efficient ceiling fans, and proper material choices, aid the Ras-a house naturally in the spring and fall months.
