True Wooden Ski House by Venturi, Scott Brown and Associates
This house is built vertically and I like it. The Ski House for which Venturi, Scott Brown and Associates has named this wooden home is a great home for a family with two children where it can also fit with a very large number of guests.
The wooden ski house is inspired by tall, straight trees around it which features amazing views of the surrounding area. The first floor is where you will find storage, laundry, and sauna facilities. Bedrooms and small bunkrooms to accommodate guests are on the second floor. The third will be the kitchen and dining spaces which is separated where one side is for the playroom or TV room for the children and the other as a guest room.
The fourth floor is where you will see the beautiful tree tops with big dormer windows on the window seats that can also be used either for beds for additional guests and a seat. The floor is true pine and cedar siding inside and out where it is furnished mostly with a collection of oak furniture. It’s a true wooden home unlike any other.
