A company specializing in kitchen equipment named Kitchen Center has decided to enter the competitive retail market in malls through a new concept store that houses their brands and where it functions also as a showroom. Their objective was to define brand identity with strong emphasis on the shopping experience of customers. The challenge was to bring the customer to the product of a real and concrete way that what is currently on the market. This is achieved through a layout where each product is displayed as if in a real kitchen. Without competing with the products, the architecture acts as a support and enhance the quality of each one of them.

The plan of this store interior design is divided into three areas. One is the entrance hall, which can be accessed through a double height door oak veneer. This section allows the client to look at the totality of the store, and is characterized by the flexibility on which products are displayed. A loaf of attention-foot-long permits both self service and specialized care for those who go with their designer or architect. Finally, a vertical display cabinet smaller appliances complement the kitchen appliances to higher volume. Along the perimeter wall display, wall defined a graphical support for displaying the essence of the kitchen to large format.

The second area is the central area that houses the two leading brands of Kitchen Center: Fagor and VSF. It makes such a technical elements resembling a real kitchen. Thus, the shopping experience away from the concept of large tent where the artifacts are arranged next to each other without hierarchy. The materials chosen for Kitchen Center were: basalt stone, absolute black granite floors, oak, pine cladding, Carrara marble and glass.
