You know how the traditional washer occupies a large amount of space in common homes these days? People need to use space efficiently, when the traditional washing machine are not used, they will cause a major waste of space. Well maybe the solution is going to the public laundry store, but you’re forgetting that sharing the same machine can cause serious germs and health issues. How does it work? Well the steam will be made in the container then it will be delivered into washing box through the “vane” and at the same time the motor in power stick will circum and rotate the vane.

The key concept on this machine is about sharing the energy. People don’t need to share the whole washer with other people which will cause them health issues nor discomfort users. In traditional washer it will composed of 2 major parts, one is the washing space and the electronic part, but with Dismount Washer the key is to separate the 2 parts and what’s more great is that it can be stick to the wall. In the near future, hopefully people want to wash their own clothes just by carrying their own box and stick it to the energy stick where the high steam pressure and the LED show the washing progress, and you can just wait till your laundry is done.

It’s designed by Lichen Guo for Electrolux where this Dismount Washing Machine became the finalist 8 for the Electrolux Design Lab Competition.
