Architectural Design Fitness Center and Spa by 4of7 Architecture
This architectural interior design refurbishment and transformation of the existing building on Belgrade riverfront from exclusive restaurant into modern fitness center and Spa is designed by 4of7 Architecture. This nine hundred square meters triangular shaped fitness center building is raised 15 meters from the ground level to hover above the pedestrian esplanade and the river.
The main focus on transforming this architectural gym interior design was on the floor and the ceiling. The entire floor surface of this fitness center interior was finished using reflective resin floor finishes that were often used in the industrial buildings to reflect light and help create an airy impression of the gym and open plan area. The suspended ceiling consists of the steel structure and translucent vinyl skin lit from the back. With such choice of materials, the entire interior becomes a background meant to expose shapes of the training equipment.
