Metzgerstüble Bar and Café by DI Bernardo Bader

March 15, 2010 Filed Under: Interior Design

This contemporary bar and cafe interior design is located in the Austrian town of Mellau. Designed by Austria based architectural firm DI Bernardo Bader Architects, the Metzgerstüble Bar and Café is situated between one of the small town’s main roads and the water. This wooden box bar and cafe is made of wooden strips that vary in size to break the monotony of an entirely wood furnished structure, the cafe has a punched in window facing the water, while the front entry is using wide glass window and glass door material as its front facade to make it looks more open. All furnishings in this wooden bar and cafe interior design including the lighting fixtures are simplified to form a non-overpowering space which welcomes the residents of Mellau.
