This state of the art sustainable building is the new completes architectural projects of Parkside Victoria condominium located in downtown Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. The client brief the architects for a new direction in urban residential infill housing. Parkside Victoria condominium was completed in July 2009. ITs a 126-suite mixed-use, urban multi-family residential project with the whole ownership condominiums are complemented by a variety of holiday ownership products including fractional ownership. Two independent 7 and 8 storey midrise structures are linked by a garden atrium lobby. Amenities include a spa, fitness center, indoor pool, cosmetic surgeon, convenience retail, offices, and food and beverage facilities.

Sustainability and stewardship are the primary principles behind the design and construction of Parkside condominium. The building complex is designed The Hulbert Group to be among the most energy-efficient, sustainable works of architecture in Canada. Some of the high performance strategies include a storm water retention tank which stores and uses rainwater collected from the site to irrigate landscaped courtyards and rooftop gardens; fritted glass sunshades and operable windows to reduce heat gain and provide natural ventilation; low-flow / flush water consuming fixtures and Energy Star-rated appliances.
